Millthorpe Public School has been identified as one of the best in NSW, joining two others schools in the newly created league of Ambassador Schools.

Selected for achieving above and beyond similar schools, Ambassador Schools will share their expertise with those schools in need of a lift, particularly in the key areas of literacy and numeracy.

Education Minister Sarah Mitchell announced on Monday that along with Fairvale High School and Auburn North Public School, Millthorpe Public School exemplifies the excellent educational outcomes that the government seeks to deliver for all students.

“Ambassador Schools have proven, through their results, that the practices they are using make a huge difference for their students,” Ms Mitchell said.
